Chronicles 15:7
I grew up in River Falls, Wisconsin, where my love for basketball started and never left. At River Falls High School, I became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,699 points and earned 2× WBCA First Team All-State honors. I began my college career at Augustana University (SD) before transferring back home to finish at UW–River Falls, where I scored over 950 career points and was a 2× WIAC All-Conference point guard.
One of my favorite college memories was scoring 23 points against the Wisconsin Badgers (D1). After college, I had the opportunity to compete in the Twin Cities Pro-Am against NBA, G-League, and overseas professionals, which continued to shape my understanding of the game. I also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education, allowing me to combine high-level playing experience with a strong foundation in teaching, training, and athlete development.
"My mission as a basketball trainer is to help players reach their full potential through intentional, high-level training. I focus on developing real game skills, confidence, and a strong work ethic that translates beyond workouts and into competition. Every session is built with purpose. I emphasize fundamentals, attention to detail, and game-like reps while pushing athletes to be disciplined, mentally tough, and accountable. I want players to understand why they do things, not just how, so they can make reads, adjust, and play with confidence at any level. More than anything, I aim to build players who are prepared for pressure, for failure, and for growth. The habits formed in training matter just as much as the skills, and I want athletes to leave better than they arrived every single day. At the end of the day, I try to lead the right way. My faith influences how I coach, how I treat athletes, and the culture I build, and when appropriate, prayer is a part of that environment."
We emphasize maximum effort and strong discipline. Recognizing that true improvement demands hard work, consistency, and a relentless desire to succeed.
